Public Consultation
Birmingham City Council's formal consultation on the Big City Plan 'Work in Progress' Report ran from 12 December 2008 to 6 February 2009.
The City Council carried out a range of consultation activities that were intended to meet, but also to exceed the requirements of the Council's adopted Statement of Community Involvement and Government guidance for this type of consultation. Other activities are ongoing. Many thanks for 'getting involved' — the City Council has received a huge response!
All attributable comments submitted to date have now been processed on our consultation database and are visible to all. As of 4 March 2009, a total of 1,864 comments, including 274 from the Big City Talk, have been logged as recorded below:

We were grateful to receive comments from 273 people across the city. We are now in the process of analysing these comments, to assist in developing the next stage of the Big City Plan.
