Competition Categories
With the title 'My Vision for Birmingham' entries will be judged in two categories:
Photographs
- A maximum of 8 photographs with a short written commentary to explain your vision and how the pictures illustrate it.
- Photographs should be uploaded to your own account on Flickr.com with a tag of 'bigcityplanchallenge'.
- You will then need to send a link of your photos along with a commentary to digital.challenge@bigcityplan.org.uk
- Flickr registration is free and very simple.
Videos
- Should be between 30 seconds and 2 minutes.
- Video entries should be uploaded to your own account on YouTube.com with a tag of 'bigcityplanchallenge'.
- You will then need to send a link of your video along with a commentary to digital.challenge@bigcityplan.org.uk
- YouTube registration is free and very simple.
- Music which you do not "own" cannot be used as a part of your video as this constitutes a copyright infringement. The only instance in which music may be used is if you have written permission or a license to use it. You should provide evidence of this permission with your entry. Any video found breaching these rules will not be considered for the competition.
A selection of the best entries will be made available on the Big City Plan website, and the top two entries will win a fashionable Flip camera. Please be sure to read the competition rules in full, before entering the competition.
